Refund Policy
Effective date: May 22, 2026
AbleSceneList is a macOS software product developed and distributed by Optum Audio. We offer a full-featured, 30-day free trial so you can thoroughly evaluate the software before making any purchase decision. Because of this, we maintain a limited refund policy as described below.
1. 30-Day Free Trial
Before purchasing, every customer is encouraged to take full advantage of the free trial period. The trial is fully functional and unlocks all features of AbleSceneList for 30 days. No credit card or payment information is required to start the trial.
The trial begins on the date the trial license is delivered to your email address. At the end of the trial period, the software will cease to function until a valid purchased license is applied.
We strongly encourage all customers to use the trial period to confirm that AbleSceneList is compatible with their macOS system, workflow, and version of Ableton Live before purchasing.
2. Purchases
All purchases of AbleSceneList are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy, our authorized payment processor. Upon completing a purchase, you will receive a license key file (ablescenelist.license) and a download link for the software via email.
3. Refund Eligibility
Because a full 30-day free trial is provided prior to purchase, all sales are generally considered final. However, Optum Audio will consider refund requests in the following limited circumstances:
Duplicate purchase: You were charged more than once for the same license due to a billing error.
Non-delivery: You completed a purchase but did not receive your license key and download link within 24 hours, and the issue could not be resolved by contacting support.
Technical incompatibility discovered post-purchase: In rare cases where a critical, undisclosed technical incompatibility is discovered after purchase that was not present or discoverable during the trial period, Optum Audio will evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
Refund requests based on a change of mind, lack of use, or dissatisfaction with features that were available and testable during the trial period will not be approved.
4. Version Upgrades
AbleSceneList licenses cover a major version (e.g., a 3.x.x license covers all 3.x.x releases). When a new major version is released (e.g., 4.x.x), the prior license will no longer activate that version. Upgrade pricing will be offered at a discount to all prior purchasers. The availability of a major version upgrade does not constitute grounds for a refund of a previously purchased license.
5. How to Request a Refund
To submit a refund request, contact Optum Audio support at the email address listed on our website. Please include your order number, the email address used for purchase, and a description of the issue.
Refund requests are typically reviewed within 5 business days.
If you have questions about these terms, please contact us at contact@optum-audio.com.
